Description
In place of the clotted cream traditionally served at English teatime, these sandwiches feature rich and mildly nutty flavour of L’Extra Double Cream Brie. A classic in the making.
Ingredients
- 225 g of L’Extra Double Cream Brie
- Loaf of raisin bread
- Butter
- Maple butter
Preparation
Makes 24 bites
- Cut a loaf of raisin bread into 12 slices. From each slice, form 2 rectangular pieces or use a cookie-cutter of your choice. Fry them in butter.
- Cut 225 g (1/2 lb) of the L’Extra Double Cream Brie into slices.
- Spread each toasted piece of bread with a generous amount of maple butter, and garnish with pieces of Brie.
